HOW TO ENTER CONTEST

Read the rules and qualifications required to participate in this year’s competition.

1. Register online by filling out each field in the TALENT SUBMISSION FORM by August 12th.
2. Submit an audition video at the time of registration. In the audition, contestants will have to impress our judges by performing a song of their choice they think will “wow” a live festival audience.
3. Individuals are eligible to enter into one age category as determined by the contestant’s age on August 1^st, 2023.
4. Duo applicants must be in same age category.
5. If you were a 1st place winner in your age category, you cannot participate in the same age category. If your age falls in a different category, you may enter the competition.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M SELECTED?

• Contestants will be notified by email that they have been accepted.
• Contestants must provide a brief bio for the MC to read.
• Contestants must submit two song titles and tracks by August 16.
• Once a song and track have been submitted (All song selections are final)
• Although sound will be provided, contestants are responsible for their own accompaniment using either instrumental backing tracks or one musician. (no trios or bands)
• Contestants will be judged on vocal quality, stage presence, creativity, preparedness, and overall performance.
• Contestants will have up to four minutes to impress our judges by performing a song of their choice they think will “wow” a live audience.
• If selected to continue, the Live Music Performances will be held on the dates below,
• • Youth (10-13)
    Friday, August 25, and Finals Sunday, August 27
  • Teen (14-17)
    Saturday, August 26, and Finals Sunday, August 27
  • Adult (18+)
    Saturday, August 26, and Finals Sunday, August 27

Time frames may change depending on the number of contestants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be able to perform as a soloist(s) or musician live on stage on the listed dates above.
• Contestants must be prepared to play up to two songs for live performances for the final performances.
• Contestants must be a resident of Indiana. (Any city)
• Singers may use track accompaniment or one instrument to accompany them.
• Contestants will be judged on vocal quality, stage presence, and overall performance.
• Although sound will be provided, contestants are responsible for their own accompaniment with the use of either instrumental backing tracks or one musician – no trios or bands. (All song selections and tracks are final.)
• Performers must be willing to arrive at least 45 minutes before the show.
• Contestants must provide a brief bio for the MC to read.
